Daughter of our beloved herd queen, Flash…KATIE has always
been a favorite (and a bit of a Diva). She quickly earned her dry leg at her
first show as a yearling, but was slow to mature like her dam. She has been
quite stingy about giving us does, instead blessing us with single bucklings.
Sahhalie Kiss, her son, was used in 2021 and we love the general appearance of
his kids, udders are yet to come!
Katie finally decided to cooperate and freshened as a 5yr
old with a beautiful udder. She had an exciting showing in 2021 with a BIS
honor, 2xBOB, Best Udder (Nubian) and a ResCH. It was Elizabeth’s last year as a
youth, and we couldn’t miss the 2021 ADGA Nationals in Kentucky. Katie was
awarded Premier Youth Senior Doe. What an honor!
We returned from Nationals with much excitement and Katie
cycled, cycled again, recycled and unfortunately didn’t settle and spent the
2022 season dry, not attending shows and watching her littermate sister, Wendy
Wow take over the spotlight. We have big hopes for Katie this year. She is bred
to Blissberry Mr. Manhattan for late April kids. All does will be retained.
